Choose a company-wide, location, or employee asset audit
An administrator can schedule a company-wide audit or limit the work to a specific location, asset group, or property assigned to an employee. Define the start and end, locations, and asset groups before the planned audit opens.
An authorized employee can also create an ad hoc audit to verify assets in that employee's possession. Keep planned and ad hoc results separate so managers know which list and scope each batch checked.
Scan the asset tag, then verify the physical asset
The scan identifies the available fixed asset record. The worker still checks that the physical asset is present, that the tag belongs to it, and that the location or employee assignment is correct.

Keep the audit batch saved on the phone during offline work
Scanned asset batches can remain saved on the employee's phone when there is no data connection. The employee can continue the audit and submit the completed batch to the cloud after a supported connection returns.
Before field work starts, confirm sign-in, cached audit data, device storage, synchronization behavior, and what the worker should do if a tag or asset is missing.
Review assignments and exceptions after submission
Use the submitted batch to compare the verified assets with the planned company, location, group, or employee list. Missing, found, moved, or mismatched records need follow-up through the organization's asset process.
