What the earlier web and mobile platform combined
The earlier AHG platform was designed for commercial lighting, smart-building equipment, and industrial sensor networks that used Bluetooth Mesh. It combined a central web dashboard with Android and iOS commissioning apps.
Administrators prepared the network structure and user access in the office. Installers used the mobile app beside actual fixtures, switches, sensors, and other network devices. This division kept detailed network setup in the web system while giving field staff a shorter list of on-site tasks.
Administrators prepared projects and network rules on the web
The web dashboard held projects, networks, device groups, applications, preset parameters, scenes, schedules, and user permissions. An administrator could define publisher and subscriber relationships, reuse a configuration template, and decide which projects or actions each user could access.
Those settings were prepared before site work. They gave installers a named project, network, and preset configuration instead of asking them to build every technical relationship at the equipment.
Installers provisioned, configured, and controlled devices on site
The mobile app scanned for unprovisioned nodes. An installer could use an identify action to match a listed node with the physical device, then provision it into the chosen network.
After provisioning, installers applied the applications and groups prepared in the web dashboard. They could also adjust allowed settings, such as a light level or schedule, and check device control at the site. The exact tasks depended on the equipment and models in that network.
